Chive

Chives are grown for their scapes and leaves, which are used for culinary purposes as a flavoring herb, and provide a somewhat milder onion-like flavor than those of other Allium species.


Arugula – Rocket salad

May be added to salads or when slightly cooked add to pastas, rice, boiled eggs, meat stuffings and vegetable soups.
HEALTH:
Rich in Vitamin C, this herb is antiscorbutic, stimulates the appetite, favours digestion, and is of benefit to the liver as well as treating gas in the intestine. An infusion of a handful of leaves, a pinch of mint and a few flowering tips of the santoreggia plant offers a relaxing and invigorating tonic.
