Pasta zucchini and shrimps

  • 320 gr of pasta (any kind)
  • 2 zucchini
  • 20 shrimps (meduìium size)
  • 1/2 shallot
  • Extra vergin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper


  • Cook the pasta in salty water.
  • Clean the shrimps and the zucchini.
  • Slice (1 mm) the zucchini .
  • In a large pan, fry the chopped shallot with 3 spoons of oil.
  • Add the zucchini, salt and pepper and cook an a high fire for 8-10 minutes.
  • Add the shrimps an cook for 3 minutes.
  • When the pasta is ready, drain it and sautè with the sauce.

If you add 4-5 spoons of the water used to cook the pasta into the pan, it will make (when sautè) the dish more creamy and all the ingredients well amalgamated. This is because of the starch that the pasta releases into the water while cooking.
