Polenta

Ingredients:

  • 200 gr. of cornmeal
  • 1 Lt. of water
  • Salt

Method:

    • Boil the water in a large casserole, salt and pour the cornmeal slowly slowly stirring constantly with a wooden spoon.
    • Cook for 50 minutes stirring constantly.

    Good as an accompaniment to main courses (fish, meat, cheese etc.) it is a good replacement for bread or rice
