Fennels gratin

Ingredients:

  • 2 Fennels
  • ½ Lt. of besciamella sauce
  • 40 gr. of parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper

Method:

  • Clean and cut in quarters the fennels.
  • Cook them in salty boiling water for 4-5 minutes.
  • Place them in a baking pan, cover with the besciamella sauce and sprinkle the parmesan cheese on top.
  • Bake (180°) for a few minutes or until the top is brown and cruncy.
  • Serve hot.

You can also use (same cooking method), broccoli, green beans, cauliflower, or asparagus.
